MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music is one of the biggest in music in the Latin mainstream. Una Lady Como Tu from 2016 received the Colombian Kids Choice Award as Favorite Song for 2017. In Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and released ADN as his debut full-length album. The album peaked at the top of the charts, number 8 at the top of the Top Latin Albums chart. In the following year, he teamed up with Ozuna for the creation of Vaina Loca which reached number five on the chart of Top Latin Albums. Mala Influencia is his collaboration with Noriel in 2020. In the following calendar year Dopamina was his follow-up album. Later, in 2021, the singer sang a duet 2021 alongside TINI for her smash hit Maldita Foto. The smash hit La Bachata from 2000 was made available in 2023. Turizo was brought up in a music-oriented environment because both his mother and younger brother are musicians. In his interviews, Turizo has declared that music is an essential part of his life. He learned how to play the saxophone, guitar, the ukulele and piano when he was an infant. His initial choice of career was to become a vet, but his brother Julian convinced him to study how to sing under an instructor from a Cuban instructor. The end result was that he realized his talent for singing and altered the direction of his life.
