Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, the daughter of a musician from Mexico, was born to a family that was devoted to music. The majority of her childhood was spent listening to traditional music, boleros from the past in addition to traditional ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana is a fan of tangos as well as opera, and various other dramatic types. Ana started to learn how to sing and play music as a child with her mother. The singer received more formal vocal instruction when she was 16 years old under the famous Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. The School of Music of Guadalajara University and the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico kept her in the music field. In Guadalajara as well as Mexico City, she was part of numerous opera chamber and choruses. After 2000, she moved in America. United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Later, in 2007, she relocated to her current home in Southern California. She currently is a part of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and frequently performs solo of classical Latin American music at private concerts. Being a teacher and a musician she's committed to many projects in the community due to her enthusiasm and enthusiasm for music. Ana has also been a former singer in the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana finds it a privilege to be able to share with others her love of traditional Latin American music. She hopes that this will inspire younger generations to keep the tradition alive.
